Engine lacks power
HOW TO SAVE MORE ON TURBO RECONDITION
Before turbo repair you need to get answers to these questions:
Why did turbo broke
There are main causes of turbocharger damage:
Oil & lubrication
To work effectively, a turbo needs a constant flow of clean oil, and to keep your turbo in top condition, you need to ensure that you change the oil and oil filter regularly.
Foreign objects
Foreign objects like broken engine components, dust particles, small stones, dirt and leaves can enter your turbocharger, either via the compressor inlet or the turbine inlet.
Over speeding and excessive temperature
If there are any leaks, cracks or poor seals between the compressor and the engine, the turbo will have to work much harder than it should have to increase this pressure. This will reduce the efficiency and boost delivered by the turbo.
Lack of lubrication
Turbo fatigue cracking and material transfer created by metal friction and high temperatures as a result of oil inlet supply restrictions, incorrect gasket placement and use of liquid gaskets or poor quality lubricants.

The steps you need to do
If you notice any of the warning signs, then get your turbo checked as soon as possible. Your turbocharger isn’t going to repair itself, and the longer you leave it, the worse (and more expensive) the problem will get!
At Turbo Factory Ireland we’re always happy to help with the cost-effective diagnosis and repairs on a full range of turbochargers.
We examine which parts need to be in order to function. Turbocharger optimally again is replaced. We will promptly contact you to tell you exactly what is broken and what might be the cause. We also advise, if needed on how you can avoid defects to your turbo in the future. Of course, we discuss prior to the repair, the cost. If we do not agree on the repair, because of the price or because the necessary parts at that time are not available, then you are not required to be overhauled.
